Clearance for Personal Data retention and use by Regimental Association

The law requires permission to be granted by individuals to organisations to retain personal data. As a Days Pay Scheme subscriber you are a Life Time member of your Association. For Data Protection purposes Home HQ needs permission from all Association members in order that data may be held to allow communication to be maintained. All members of The Life Guards Association or the Blues and Royals Association are asked to complete this form and return it to Home HQ so that Members details may be held on the Home HQ Association database.

Home Headquarters of the Household Cavalry (HHQ Household Cavalry) retains personal information that you have provided to The Household Cavalry Association’s, this data is held and dealt with in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

The data is held on the Association database at Home Headquarters and is used in assisting in the maintenance of contact between members of the Association and the wider Household Cavalry family, by telephone, postal or email. We will retain your personal data whilst you are a member of the Association. Upon leaving the Association we will continue to hold your name and relevant details to support the Household Cavalry’s historical records.
